Breakfast was great. The receptionist was attentive. Our room was extraordinary. There was a lift so no concerns about our luggage. Restaurant on site was very good.

Surrounded by vineyards, this 3-star hotel is located just 650 metres from the banks of the Moselle River. It features a garden terrace, as well as rooms and apartments with free Wi-Fi. We had an amazing time at Weingut Gehlen-Cornelius. It exceeded our expectations in terms of the room, breakfast, vineyard and wine. We could not have asked for a better stay and will be coming back!

Although the Hotel is seemingly in the middle of nowhere, it is very close to Luxemburg and the Hackenberg bunker. Despite the small number of dishes, everything is very tasty, ice cream worth recommending.

Boasting a fitness centre, shared lounge, terrace and free WiFi, Strandhaus an der Mosel is set in Valwig, 4.8 km from Cochem Castle and 33 km from Castle Eltz. This hotel is extremely clean and well maintained. Everywhere smells really nice. The hosts are the most lovely and helpful people. They were always thoughtful about our needs but never invasive. It's suprisingly big since It's a redone house. You get your own key and can come and go as you like. There are about 25 rooms with a shared lounge where you can grab snacks and drinks and just write what you took on a bit of paper. There is no fridge or coffeemaker in the room itself, but we didn't miss it. The shared coffee maker is excellent and prices are cheap. Nearby are at least two good restaurants (next door and Frisch Fritz) at walking distance. Plenty of free parking around. It's the perfect location to visit everything in the area. Breakfast is fabulous and from 8.30 till 10. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!
